FDMEE Category Disappeared

I'm using FDMEE 11.1.2.3.700.

While in Global Category Mapping, somehow I mistakenly deleted the main FDM category.  What's strange is that there were many Data Load Rules associated with this category and normally if you try to delete a category when data load rules exist, FDMEE won't allow it.  It prompts you with the message "Cannot delete the global mapping since there are data rules associated with the mapping."

I recreated the FDM category with the same name (different category key), and then tried to recreate the data load rules with the same name but it gives me an error, "The rule name already exists.  Enter a unique rule name"
