Seeded Loaner Repair type

Hello,

We had a business requirement  were a unit is sent  to customer for training purpose from repair centre and after the training is complete unit is sent back to repair centre. Ownership for the unit will be the repair centre.

For the above requirement identified that  loaner repair type is the apt one.

Did all the necessary setup for Loaner  In terms of the transaction subtyp, used seeded Loaner and Return Loaner transaction subtype. For these transaction type Change Owner box is set to No .

Created a SR/RO Loaner repair type for customer. It created two logistics line. Ship line first and Return line second. On the logistic tab serial field populated the serial number(serial#123) that need to be sent as loaner (serial resides in  repair inventory and ownersjip with repair centre). Shipped out the unit to customer . In install base  status changed to Loaner and ownership is still with repair centre .
