KIT Component Quantities overwritten in 9.0

I have  a sales order with a KIT on it.  1 parent with 2 component lines, so for this example, lines 1.000, 1.010, and 1.020 (each line has 12 pieces).

After I print the Picker, one of my component lines split as I do not have enough inventory in my primary location to fill it, so now I have a line 1.030.  Line 1.010 now has 10 pieces and 1.030 has 2)

If I go back into the order and change the Requested Date, the 'Sales Order Processing - Kit Selection' window appears (P41351), but the quantity of the previously split line now only shows the primary location quantity.  If I accept this, the system cancels the added line (1.030); my component quantity on line 1.010 is set to 10; and the KITDIRTY flag is NOT set!
