I am trying to understand an upgrade to 9.2 from earlier releases.

Hello,

I am trying to understand the upgrade path from various releases to 9.2. Also went through communities and forums and knowledgebase in oracle but still in a confusing state of mind. Simplified upgrade works from 9,0 update 2 and 9,1 to 9.2.   

For clients in previous releases is there a direct path from XE,810, 811 SP1 , 812, 9.0 to 9.2 ? Be it traditional or simplified is there a direct path like any normal upgrade. If not are you recommending a 2 step upgrade process for older releases ? which is double the effort, time and investment.

Please clarify.
