How cancel a process in adop

Applying patch 17919161 got an issue:

on note 1617458.1 from 14-oct-15 outline the solution, but now have to cancel the process before to start a new

to apply the patch as recommend the note

I tried using "abandon", "abort" but not worked

Checking for existing adop sessions.
