CAPEX and OPEX

Hello all,

I wanted to know how to define, purchase and differentiate the CAPEX and OPEX types of items.(I am aware of Asset, Inv, exp, inv-exp items and its p2p process but wanted to correlate keenly with CAPEX/OPEX )

Also in what scenario we will use these and what is the Pros and cons financially in categorizing it.
