Is it possible to constrain a Multivalue Group?

Hi Oracle Community,

we have a new client requirement:

- they want a checklist showing all sectors (25 totally), where they can choose or select more than one sector and

- they want another checklist showing all sub-sectors, where they can also choose or select more than one sub-sector

Supposing we have among the 25 sectors, A, B, C and D as sectors. A has as sub-sectors SB1, SB2, SB3,...,SB11, B has as sub-sectors SB12, SB13,...,SB26, C has as sub-sectors SB27, SB28,...,SB38 and so on.

Now,

- the point is that they want this fuctionality: supposing I choose A, B and C sectors in the sector checklist, they want the sub-sector checklist to display all sub-sectors related to every chosen or selected sector in the first cheklist, so they can choose from there more than one sub-sector. So, the values displayed in the sub-sector checklist will depend on which sector they chose in the sector-checklist, and from there they need the possibility to choose further more than one sub-sector.

Howdy, Stranger!
