Generating Org Charts by position rather than Supv/EE Relationship?

I there a JDE functionality that I do not know of and which would allow to generate Org Charts (using P09713W or other) using the Position Control rather than the F05840 EE/Supervs relationship?  In other words, I would like to keep a position in the Org chart even if the position is either not even filled or if the employee is terminated.
