How are copy/cut/paste buttons used in Work With Task Relationships?

When I open the Work With Task Relationships application (P9000 form W9000B) on my web client, I see buttons to copy, cut, and paste. How can these buttons be used?

I tried using them in both Apps 9.0.2 Tools 8.98.4.6 (Internet Explorer 8) and Tools 9.1.5.5 (Chrome 46), but nothing seemed to happen.
