Merger of Existing Capitalized Assets in 11i

Hi,

I have the requirement of merging the existing live assets. I give below the example

Asset No.1  Cost-100

Asset No.2 Cost-50

Need to merge the Cost of Asset No.2 for 50 to Asset 1

New Cost of Asset No.1 should be now-150 and cost of Asset 2 should be 0

I have Lot of assets for such activity. Please suggest the way out for Merger and if possible any API for such activity.
