ESU superceded

Good morning, All!

Question…Suppose client XYZ has an ESU that was installed to only DV & PY almost 3 years ago.  It has been superceded several times.  So, the latest one should be all they need installed.  But, anyone have suggestions about how to handle cleanup?  Should I just leave it there for history, or should I install that old one to PD first, or rollback in DV/PY first, or is there a way to just delete it from history?  Just looking for best practice, if anyone has experience dealing with this, or a suggestion of how we should do it.
