Maintaining HZ_Geographies table.

Dear experts,

     We are trying to delete duplicate values from state field in the customer form.

     The table HZ_Geographies keeps these values,  I noticed that when value are entered usig the responsibility Trading Community Manager, the created by is HZ_GEO_HIERARCHY.

     However there are records appering to by created by EBTAX_MIGRATION, EBTAX_HRMIGRATION, not sure which process or which responsibilities they are created thru.

     if we deleted / end date the duplicate GEOGRAPHY_NAME values, no matter what the created by is,  would this impact only State field in the customer form? or it could impact other form / functionalities?
