E1 Receipt Routing Movement & Disposition

Hi,

I am using Receipt routing option for some of operations. Operation process is being handled using movement. But need to know in which scenario i can use the "Disposition"

Is it mandatory to use the disposition along with Movement if we use receipt routing.

Your valuable response will be highly appreciable.
