Will upgrading to Vertex 4.1 be self-adjusting or will PR have to calculate and manually make those

We are experiencing the known issue [Doc ID 2059803.1] where our Canada employee portion of their EI deduction is not being calculated/deducted in JDE 9.0/ tools 8.98; Oracle's solution is to upgrade to Vertex 4.1 (we are on 4.0) as this is identified as a Vertex code issue. Vertex has confirmed this will fix the issue; we are upgrading to Vertex 4.1 today.

Question: Will upgrading to Vertex 4.1 be self-adjusting or will PR have to calculate and manually make those adjustments to the Canada EE E1 deductions?
