FDMEE Location Security using Active Directory Groups

Hi FeeDMEE experts:

We are upgrading to HFM/FDMEE 11.1.2.4 .    We would like to use only Active Directory Groups for our security in Shared Services.

I've been doing a lot of checking trying to find out if we can use AD groups for FDMEE location security.  So far, the only way I found to do location security is using the native approach (Setup / Security Settings / Location Security.....Security by Location,Click Maintain User Group to set up groups).    But there does not seem to be an option whether to create the groups as native or AD groups (FDMEE only creates them as native).
