ACA Reporting - Benefit Plan & DBA set up

In preparation for the first round of year end ESU's being released soon, I was reviewing the potential changes we will need to make to plan ID for form 1095-c.

1.  will plan type = M be required as a data selection in the 1095 workbench?  We are currently using plan type on our healthcare plans to identify plans for interfaces files sent to our third party providers. 

2.  We have always used healthcare waiver plans for those employees eligible for coverage that choose not to take it.  Those existing plans do not have the Non-Participating flag option on the plan master under self service.  Is there a different way we are going to be able to indicate offered but waived coverage?  Or will we have to set up new waiver plans (please say no
