Integrating Workday pay data to GL journals for import

We are implementing Workday and will be setting up the pay data in that system to map to GL accounts for journal import. What is the best method for setting up this integration? Is it usually a flat file from Workday SFTP'd to a server where Oracle picks it up for journal import? If yes, is there a generic flat file template or structure documentation available? I've seen some suggestions on MOS but wanted to know what the recommended file format and structure is.
