FDMEE 11.1.2.4 - Validate phase seems to ignore the mappings

Hello experts,
we are experiencing a very strange situation: we're trying to move data from HFM to Planning using FDMEE; the import phase is ok and in the Workbench we see the first goldfish and all the source data we were expecting.
Once moving to the "Validate" phase we have a big issue: the system simply seems to ignore all the mappings. The log says nothing (it is here below) and on screen (and also in the TDATASEG table) only the source columns are populated. The TDATAMAP table seems to have all the info (correct partitionkey, ruleid and so on) to make the joins but,,, nothing happens.
