Standard objects are showing up as Modified (ie, C/1) that have NOT been modified

I found that some objects are showing up as Modified (ie, C/1) that have NOT been modified.  So when I attempt to install an ESU, it shows as modified, but when I look in OMW logging, it has never been checked-in and it has never been Designed.  Also, the only thing in OMW logging for them is “Backup”, from a previous ESU installation.  I have an SR open with Oracle, but they don’t have any idea what could have caused that.  Have you ever seen anything like that?  I’d like to compile a list of all objects that are marked
