Identifying performance issues - 11g R2 Standard edition

Hi

We have inherited an 11g R2 database

The database is STANDARD edition

We are being asked to look into the system for performance issues

Of course we dont have the luxury of AWR/ASH and performance related underlying data dictionary views

we know we can use statspack and compare 2 snapshots to get an overall feel of whats going on

in the database but lets assume that statspack is not configured

In these circumstances, can some one please guide as as to which data dictionary view(s) we should

query to determine if the system is really having issues? So basically what we are looking for is
