Forecast consumption in ASCP when sales order is created in week of loaded forecast.

How forecast consumption takes place when sales order falls in current week? Will it consume fully for current and consume rest from previous week(in back) OR it will consume forecast for day of sales order and will then go backward for consumption. Reason I have been asking is because, when I have sales order in next week/weeks, forecast consumption takes place first for the whole week of sales order and then it consumes backward and forward.

Answer (my guess) - if sales order fall in loading week of forecast, it will then consume forecast for the day(up to current weekly days) of sales order. After that, consumption for backward week will start. PLEASE CONFIRM IF THAT'S CORRECT.
