Querying the datetime Field with a Date(no time) value requires double quotes. Please help how to en

Hi ,

We are facing a rather inconvinient problem , I'm sure it has to do with the user training  , But if someone would be generous enough to comeup with an effective solution to tackle all Datetime fields that enforce users to use double quotes when ever doing a query operation .

I'm looking for solution because users are querying on Activities  list often without double quotes which hangs the application and that query leads to performance implications
