How do we create lease conracts for the assets owned by lessor

OLFM standard functionality creates asset in FA on activation of lease contract. Asset is supplied by asset vendor to whom funds will be reimburse. However in a given case all assets owned by the business and they would like to lease them using OLFM. How do lease them through OLFM?
