Alternate Tax Rate/Area Assignement in E1 9.1

Hello,

I have been going through an evaluation of the net changes between 9.0 and 9.1 and I was wondering if this enhancement relates primarily to Procurement and Sales Order Management for European countries or it can bring value outside of these two areas and for users outside Europe?

For example, when I went to set it up, it asks for Country 1, Country 2, etc and only European countries were available on the drop down.

Can you please let me know if my observations are correct and if there are any other uses related to the purely financial modules like AR, AP and GL?
