Migrating SI to Siebel Open UI 2015

Hi,

Is it possible to expose the Siebel Open UI high interactivity application to public network? Since open UI 2015 doesn't use an ActiveX object and relies on a browser proxy object will this be safe from a security standpoint.

Ask is to have a high interactive siebel application (with advantage of leveraging HI OOB features and less coding) made available to users in public network which otherwise in previous version is being done using customer based application like eservice (customer portal) or echannel (partner portal).

Let me know if there is any information regarding this.
