[PSFIN 9.2][Purchasing] Should a receipt be closed?

Hello Everyone,

From what I understand, POs can be closed if there are no longer activities against it for a certain period of time but what about receipts? Why should they be closed? What are the benefits if a receipt is closed and what are the ramifications if a receipt is not closed? If there are receipts that have been completed but haven't been vouchered or have quantity left to voucher, the PO should not be completed/closed. If we have receipts that haven't been vouchered or have quantity left to voucher, the receipt should not be closed.

Navigation: Main Menu > Purchasing > Receipts > Close Receipts
