chown takes very long on OCFS2 while it is mounted on more than one server

Dear All,

We have issues while running chown commands for EBS clone restore on OCFS2 when it is mounted on 2 servers as it takes about 15minutes to complete. When it is executed on OCFS2 with only one server mounted OCFS2 filsystem, it takes a minute or so.
It became a big issue while it kept running for 3 hours while OCFS2 filesystem was mounted on 4 servers at the same time. We had to unmount it from 3 servers and then it was completed in a minute or so.

Why does it take so long on OCFS2 when it is mounted on more than one server?
