Asset Clearing account as expense account while defining Asset Categories

Getting an error while entering expense account for asset clearing account in the asset category screen.

Error is - you must enter an account of type asset.

I went through some documents which suggests creating expensed assets through AP. Also for WEBADI have applied patch which allows entering all types of accounts for asset clearing. But could not find any for asset category creation.
