How to Pick Release Partial SO line with selecting the prior reservations only box.

 

Pick Release Partial SO line issue.   Example,  I have a sales order with two lines, item A  for 100 ea. and Item B for 100 ea.  The available quantiy for item A is 60 and item B is 100.  The 60 and 100 units are reserved on the sales order line.  A new line, Line 3 is added, item C for 100 ea, no reservation created but on hand quantity exist in the warehouse.

 

When I run the pick release using a predefined pick release rule, Line 1 is backordered, and lines 2 and 3 are released to warehouse.

 

I would expect line 1(item A)  to be “release to warehouse” for a quantity of 60 and the remaining 40 backordered.  Not the entire line backordered. (we do not use line sets and the order line is not on hold.)
