What is exact relation of Generation Type in R3482 with Planning code in Item branch

Hello,

What is exact relation of Generation Type in R3482 -( Processing option  Tab - Parameters - PO # 2) with Planning code - in Item branch ( Additional info system )

If I want to run Generation type = 5 as PO in R3482, what should be set in Item branch for specific items?
