Purchase order original promised date

Hi everyone,

Normally at the time of PO creation, we do not have any idea of when the supplier is going to promise delivery, therefore the original promised date generated at that time has no real value as supplier hasn't promised anything yet.

Is there any way we could keep this date blank until we really get a promised date. Or is there any way to override "original promised"?
