How to change period from 3 to 5 years in a Active Service contract.

Dear Experts,

One of the user wrongly created SO & service contract period as 3 yrs instead of 5 yrs and now contract created and status is Active. When we try to change from Service Contract Authoring form, its not allowing as it already processed for billing. Pls advise how to correct it.
