Inventory transfer to consignment warehouse

Hi, I create an ST order to transfer inventory to a consignment warehouse then do ship confirm to reduce the on-hand. The inventory is in-transit mode and disappears in the system until I run R42800 to create OT order. Any one know if there is a way I can create the OT transaction right after P4205 instead of waiting to run R42800? Otherwise there is a timing issue where Supply and Demand does not have an accurate inventory count. Thanks.
