Swap space requirement

runInstaller requires 16GB for the swap disk partition if the RAM memory is 16GB or higher. The installation of Oracle Database 11g on Linux X86-64 fails because the partition is only 5GB. I get the the PRVF-07573 error.. How to bypass this swap space requirement ?
