Oracle GL Interface EBS 12.1.3

We are currently running Oracle EBusiness Suite 12.1.3 and have several modules installed including Oracle General Ledger.  We have several other systems which feed into or GL at the end of the day or end of the month however we do not have a consistent solution/interface which we use to facilitate this.

We know that inorder to have information fed to the GL the table GL_INTERFACE has to be populated however we do this using several methods, DB LINK or moving files to the server where the database is on and then parsing the file and creating records in the table.
