Can we do manual/unscheduled cycle count entry for phantom item on cycle count

Hello All,

 

Can we enter manual/unscheduled cycle count entry for phantom item on cycle count? I performed testing where it is allowed  to make an entry to the below forms Is it intended functionality that we can perform cycle count for phantom item? Can someone clarify it

 

(N)Inventory->Counting->Cycle Counting->Manual Requests

 

(N) Inventory->Counting->Cycle Counting->Cycle count entries
