How to adpatch preinstall=y

Hi,

I have a list of patches that ask me to install thes patches in preinstall mode in the "Pre-install Tasks" section.

What I don't understand is if I need to also install it in normal mode afterward.

Here is the description in the README.txt

Pre-install Tasks

You must shut down all Application tier services before performing the

tasks in this section.

1. Adpatch Pre-install

Apply this patch in pre-install mode on the R12 APPL_TOP.

  Usage:

    adpatch preinstall=y

Apply The Patch

There are no tasks to be performed in this section.
