Version: R12.2.4

We are unable to save the HR Professional >...CWB Merit worksheet after entering allocations and getting below error:

"Please correct the error, or call your HR Adminstrator for assistance. Error Messsage: Assignment Updates Effective Date is not defined for the plan. Please contact your System Administrator"

As per the plan setup,

US HRMS Manager> Total Compensation>Program and Plans>Plan Enrollment Requirements

Salary Change Reason:  Merit

We don't get the error message when, Assignment Changes Become Effective (date) field is populated.

Ideally, Assignment Changes Become Effective (date) should not be mandatory for Salary Change Reason:  Merit.
