Reservations question

As per standard functionality, if there is a hard reservation, then we cannot perform SI transfer for that particular item unless we delete the SI/Locator from the reservations form.

As our users are facing difficulty in performing the transaction to delete the SI / locator. Is it possible to use the INV_RESERVATION_PUB API
