How Can I Perform Validation on a Non-Integer Element Within a Form?

In Unifier v15, how can I validate a non-integer field/element (such as a date or text field) within a form?  For example: If a date entered into a date field is later than today, do not let the form move forward.  Make the user select a date that is today or earlier.

Howdy, Stranger!
