Oracle Receivables - "Create Reciprocal Customer" System Options

In Oracle Receivables, the System Options form, "Trans and Customers" tab, there is a "Create Reciprocal Customer" check box.  The Window Help does not explain this field. 

If this box is not checked and you create a relationship between Customer A and Customer B, no reciprocal relationship is created between these two customers.

If this box is checked and you create a relationship between Customer A and Customer B, a reciprocal relationship is created between these two customers.

The users would prefer that that this box be checked so they don't have to check the Reciprocal box each time they create a relationship between two customers.  Is there any significant impact or issues that would result from checking this box?
