Is ASR Manager Compulsory?

Hi All

Is ASR Manager required to use T5 server's ASR? It is running Solaris 11 and will be a loan server, there will not be large numbers of ASR clients at that location which might benefit from a manager. By the looks of the Solaris registration it seems I do not have to load the manager software at all and FMA is supplying the fault directly to Oracle ASR, is this the case? Also, can I use the ILOM on the same server as a telemetry source in parallel to FMA, and again, directly without the manager software?

In summary, I don't want to use the manager software and can I use two telemetry sources on the same server, is there any benefit in doing so?
