Is it possible to start two instances simultaneously at server reboot.

Hello Experts.

 

On my development Server (MS Windows Server 2012 R2 x64) I've installed two database instances, an 11g and a 12c databases which are running fine side by side.

Except when I restart/reboot the server, only one instance is starting up and the other is in idle mode and I have to shut it down first and then start it up manually.

After looking at different logfiles on my server, I've found out that the Service is getting the following error in oradim.log: 


Instance 1  

Sun Nov 15 05:30:10 2015

\app\Oracle\product\12.1.0\dbhome_1\bin\oradim.exe -startup -sid sbs502 -usrpwd *  -log oradim.log -nocheck 0
