Error:invalid item : ASL does not exists : 1

Hi,

I am getting an error "Error:invalid item : ASL does not exists : 1" while trying to Approve a Blanket Agreement in 11i (Version 11.5.10.2) which is correct, as ASL does not exists for that item.

But while trying the same in R12 (Version 12.2.4) , I am getting an error as below :

Error:    Line # 1 Schedule #  Item is restricted and the status assigned to this supplier does not allow document approval.

Please let me know if there has been any logic/error message change from Oracle side for ASL validation.
