can x4-2 support higher density storage than 1.2 TB SAS-2 2.5inch drives

I have a 4 slot X4-2 server fully populated with 1.2TB drives in a RAID-5 configuration.  I'm wondering if they will support/recognized higher capacity drives (e.g. 1.8TB or 2TB Seagate drives , ST1800MM0078, ST2000NX0273)
