Update PO lines with project POET information - Oracle R12 12.1.3

We are integrating Oracle projects module (costing and management) into our existing r12 (12.1.3) environment. From existing data perspective that lies in Oracle (GL, AP, FA etc) we need to projectise that data.

From that perspective, existing PO distribution needs to be updated with project information (POET - Project#, Organization, Expenditure Type, Task).

One way I open the PO form and update the project data for each PO lines manually. However, given there may be thousands of PO lines that needs to be updated, I was wondering if there is an API or tool that can be used to do this.
