MySql MEM installation question

Hi,

We would like to monitor the MySql databases that are running in Solaris OS , but would like to install the MEM tool on a linux server.

Will it work as expected ? Has anyone done this configuration ? Any documents/notes that we can use for this step ?

We are new to MySql and would like to get some help with this.
