GL Archive and Purge - GL_ARCHIVE_SEGMENT_VALS

Hi,

We are trying to implement the GL Archive and Purge for a customer. When we set up the GL Archive and Purge Storage Parameters, there are 7 tables involved:

GL_ARCHIVE_BALANCES

GL_ARCHIVE_BATCHES

GL_ARCHIVE_DAILY_BALANCES

GL_ARCHIVE_HEADERS

GL_ARCHIVE_LINES

GL_ARCHIVE_REFERENCES

GL_ARCHIVE_SEGMENT_VALS

In the R12.2 GL User Guide, the GL_ARCHIVE_SEGMENT_VALS table is not mentioned anywhere. We need clarification on what this table is used for. Could anyone please shed some light on what this table is used for?
