Siebel Local database for Tools and Dedicated Web client in IP 2015 PS 5

Hi,

We are currently on Siebel CRM version 8.1.1.11 PS10 and planning to upgrade to IP 2015 (15.5 the latest patch set).

We came to know that the local database for Tools and dedicated client is changed from SQL Anywhere to Oracle XE and there was a document which says if the IP 15 software was downloaded before 29th Sept, it will have SQL Anywhere but post that it will be Oracle XE.

The document does not give a clear picture and hence we are asking your help.

We have downloaded the IP 15 from edelivery yesterday (clearly post 29th Sept) so do we need to go ahead with Oracle XE as the Tools local database. Do we need to install any Oracle client on developer machine before they can intialize the local db?
