Event Log Control on Area

Hello,

We have a need to record the history of changes on the field "Area" of the Asset records. I checked in the Event Log Controls but do not see this field as being available to be enabled for logging. Although Location is availiable for Log control, it's unfortunately not the field that we need to track changes on.

Question is - is there any way to include a new field such as Area to the Event Log Controls functionality. Or, if there are other creative ideas out there to achieve the same, it would be very much appreciated if you can share them.
